Sweden and Denmark to purchase air defense systems for Ukraine worth nearly €250 million, SVT reports.

The air defense systems will be delivered to Ukraine within the coming months.

Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson said the systems are capable of intercepting drones, cruise missiles, and even helicopters — a critical capability for Ukraine amid the current surge in intense long-range Russian attacks.

France also announced additional assistance: in February, it will transfer 150 generators to Ukraine. According to French Trade Minister Nicolas Forissier, the first generators will arrive this Wednesday.
