Ukrainian military continues to press the occupying forces in the Oleksandrivka direction (Donetsk region). 9 settlements have already been liberated.
The General Staff showed a video of a successful operation by airborne assault troops units. It is noted that the units of the airborne assault troops group are relentlessly putting pressure on the enemy, liberating Ukrainian land, destroying the occupiers, and methodically cutting their logistical arteries.
“As of now, 9 settlements have been liberated. 3 settlements have been cleared of the enemy in our zone and work is underway to liberate several more settlements. Military units and subdivisions of the Airborne Assault Forces group continue active offensive operations in the Oleksandrivka direction, imposing their own battle conditions on the enemy,” the caption to the video says.
In particular, targeted and massive strikes are destroying the manpower, weapons, military and special equipment of the occupiers.
“In accordance with the well-considered plan of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the clear leadership of the Commander of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the consistent and effective implementation of the offensive operation was ensured,” the message says.
The General Staff adds that the operation was carried out according to the defined plan, and a week later, as a result of the decisions made and the use of technical means, the enemy forces’ access to the Starlink network was limited. This significantly affected the situational awareness of the occupiers and complicated the management of the units at the first stage, but the enemy did not stop its offensive actions and continued to move forward.
“Aerial reconnaissance units and FPV calculations are working continuously and effectively, detecting and destroying targets, leaving the enemy no safe rear,” the General Staff emphasizes.

On Sunday, March 1, it became known that the Ukrainian military had broken through enemy defenses on one of the most active sections of the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine opened a bridgehead for advancement in the Oleksandrivka direction.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, the Russian occupiers have intensified their actions in the north of Myrnograd (Donetsk region), increasing pressure on Ukrainian defensive positions. Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the defense and restraining the enemy’s attempts to advance. The occupiers are trying to accumulate heavy equipment and personnel.
