American actor Sean Penn personally visited Ukrainian military personnel in the Donetsk region. In particular, he was accompanied by former head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
This is reported by the 157th separate mechanized brigade.
It is known that the actor, who won the Oscar ceremony this year, arrived in Ukraine and visited Ukrainian fighters in the Donetsk direction.

He spoke with the soldiers and expressed his sincere gratitude to them for their devotion to Ukraine and courage in defending the state.
“His arrival (Sean Penn, – ed.) is a sign that the world sees and appreciates our heroes, who day after day stand in defense of the freedom and independence of our country. Such meetings inspire and remind us that even in the most difficult times we are not alone, and our courage will not go unnoticed,” the brigade notes.

It is also reported that former head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak was spotted in the photos with Sean Penn. In one of the photos, they are seen standing near a stele at the entrance to Sloviansk.
