More than three dozen people were injured.

Russians attacked one of the penitentiary institutions in the Zaporizhia region , as a result of which 16 people are already known to have died and more than three dozen people were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration (OVA) Ivan Fedorov. “At night, the enemy shelled the Zaporizhia region 8 times, preliminarily with FABs. They also hit the penal colony. 16 people were killed, 35 were injured,” the head of the regional state administration reported.

He added that the victims are receiving all necessary medical assistance.

“This is another war crime by the Russians, who will not stop unless they are stopped,” commented the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.

“The Putin regime, which also threatens the US through the mouths of certain characters, must be subjected to economic and military blows that will deprive it of the ability to fight. The threat of war in Europe against NATO countries is quite real, as long as Putin is building up the military-industrial complex and is capable of involving the DPRK in the war,” Yermak wrote.

Strikes on Zaporozhye

On July 20, the Russians struck Zaporizhia, resulting in injuries and destruction in the city. Local authorities then reported that the occupiers had hit civilian infrastructure.

“Three women were wounded during enemy attacks on the Zaporizhia and Vasilievsky districts. Over the course of 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 457 strikes on 18 settlements in the Zaporizhia region,” the head of the regional state administration, Fedorov, reported at the time.
