Hits were recorded in several districts of the capital, and the number of wounded increased. The city of Dnipro was also hit.

On the night of February 12, Russians attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, resulting in a hit on a private home in one district.

The air force warned of missiles flying towards Kyiv, and immediately a series of explosions thundered across the city.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, a rocket has been preliminarily reported to have struck a private home in the Darnytskyi district. In the Holosiivskyi and Desnyanskyi districts, it struck a non-residential building. In the Dniprovskyi district, debris was reported to have fallen near a residential building.

“Two people were injured in the capital as a result of the enemy’s attack overnight. One of them was hospitalized in serious condition. The other received outpatient treatment,” the mayor added.

The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) later released details of the wounded. A 45-year-old man suffered blast injuries to the head and extremities, while a 20-year-old woman suffered a laceration to the bone. “Both wounded were hospitalized for treatment,” the KCMA noted.

There are reports that power outages began in the city after this attack.

Attack on the Dnieper

A series of explosions also rocked Dnipro around 3:00 a.m., damaging private homes and cars in one of the city’s districts. A fire broke out.

There are also wounded. According to Oleksandr Ganz, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Anti-Terrorist Army, “an infant and a 4-year-old girl were wounded as a result of the Russian attack on the Dnipro River.” He added that the children are receiving all necessary medical care.

Later, Ganja clarified that four people were wounded as a result of the attack.

“The boy, who is not yet a month old, has been hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as moderate,” he said.

The head of the OVA added that the attack caused several fires. Infrastructure, private homes, and cars were damaged.
