Neurologist Roman Moskalenko was killed in a missile strike on Kyiv on July 31. A Russian missile hit the house where the doctor lived.

Roman Moskalenko was 39 years old. He had worked at the medical center on Lubomyr Huzar Street for nine years and also received patients at the multi-specialty hospital on Idzykovskih Street in Kyiv. Rescuers recovered Roman’s body at night during search and rescue operations.

“A Russian missile hit the house where Roman lived. All day yesterday, Roman’s family, friends, and colleagues hoped for a miracle. They believed that he would still be found alive, but at night, rescuers pulled his body out of the rubble,” the medical center reported.
Roman Moskalenko graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2009. In his profession, he was very attentive and caring – to patients, to colleagues, to people.
As a reminder, on the night of July 31, the enemy attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones. The Sviatoshynskyi and Solomyanskyi districts were the most affected.
