Evacuations began in the city of Belgorod after a Russian bomb fell on Gubkina Street.
The incident was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel and regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
The published video shows the munition embedded deeply in the ground, without detonating.
The city’s mayor, Valentin Demidov, said explosives technicians from the Ministry of Defense are currently inspecting the area. Police and the State Road Safety Inspectorate have cordoned off the potentially dangerous zone and blocked traffic.
Authorities have not officially confirmed the type of munition. Residents posting in local groups suggest it was an aerial bomb.
This is not the first improper drop of Russian ammunition in Belgorod. The last incident occurred on April 20, 2023, when a crater roughly 20 meters wide formed on a city street.

In that event, the explosion at the intersection of Vatutin and Gubkin streets damaged several cars. One vehicle was thrown onto the roof of a nearby store by the blast wave.

Good job, bombing your own cockroaches. Maybe drop a few bombs on the kremlin the next time. That would be even better.
