Iran supplied Russia not only with “Shaheeds”, but also with ammunition of various calibers. Military commentator Denis Popovich said this on Radio NV , commenting on the protests in Tehran.

“Now imagine that all this disappears. Given that North Korea, we haven’t mentioned it for a long time, supplies ammunition to the Russian Federation. Although they supplied, there were millions of tons. But I have seen information that North Korea’s reserves are gradually being depleted and they are forced to deploy additional capacities. In order to continue these supplies. But imagine that this source is completely blocked from Iran,” Popovich said.

He added that this is why protests in Iran are beneficial to Ukraine, since in the event of a regime change in the country, Tehran could cut off these supplies to Moscow.

“Therefore, everything is interconnected – if Iran falls away, then the Russian Federation will have problems. Because Venezuela fell away, Iran will fall away. North Korea remains. And North Korea’s capabilities to provide the front in Ukraine – in my opinion, they are quite questionable,” Popovych added.

Protests in Iran: what is known

Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that Iran sold missiles to Russia for almost $3 billion. It was noted that this concerns the supply of ballistic missiles and surface-to-air missiles. In addition, Russia concluded a contract with Iran for Shahed drones worth $1.75 billion.

Meanwhile, Politico notes that due to Russia’s war in Ukraine, Putin is starting to lose allies . In particular, in 2024 the regime in Syria fell, and in 2025 the US captured Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela. The publication notes that the network of allies that Putin has built over two decades seems to be falling apart.

  1. The dictators are going down one by one since the 2024 US election and putin hasn’t been seen since Maduro found the Delta Force in his bedroom. Assad, Maduro, the Mullahs, who’s next? Kim, putin, Lukashenko, Orban and the Cuban commie, we still have work to do…
