Russia carried out a massive attack on the Kyiv region with missiles and drones this night, there is destruction in several areas, deaths and injuries.

Initially, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, reported two dead and four wounded, but later wrote that the number of dead had increased to three.

Two people died in the Brovary district, and one person died in Vyshhorod district.

The National Police later reported that the death toll had increased to four, with 10 people injured.

Updated 8.15. Mykola Kalashnyk reported that the death toll has increased to 4 people, 15 residents of the region were injured by enemy shelling. Three of them are in serious condition, two are currently undergoing surgery.

“Under the enemy’s attack are ordinary settlements of the region: residential buildings, educational institutions, enterprises and critical infrastructure facilities. The greatest damage is in the Obukhiv and Brovary districts. Currently, we already have information about about 30 damaged facilities,” he said.

In total, the consequences of the invaders’ attack were recorded in four districts of the region.

A high-rise building and warehouses were damaged in the Vyshgorod district.

In the Brovary district, two private houses, a dormitory, non-residential, office and industrial buildings, restaurant premises, a garage cooperative were damaged. Cars were also damaged.

In the Obukhiv district, two schools and a kindergarten, three private residential buildings, a high-rise building, and non-residential and industrial premises were damaged.

A private house was damaged in the Buchansky district.

“Information about the destruction continues to arrive. The number of victims, unfortunately, is growing,” the head of the Kyiv OVA added.

In Brovary, warehouses and production facilities were hit. A dormitory building was damaged. Two people died there. Also, in the village of Pogreby, the roof of a restaurant caught fire.

In the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod district, warehouse buildings were destroyed and caught fire. One person died and another was injured.

In the Obukhiv district, in Ukrainka, the roof of a 9-story building was on fire due to falling debris. Fires also occurred in private residential buildings in Obukhiv and Tarasivka.

In the Buchansky district, in the village of Stoyanka, a fire in a private house was extinguished on the territory of a garden association.

Power outages have also begun in Kyiv and the region. In particular, DTEK reports the use of emergency power outages in Kyiv and the Buchansky district.
