On the night of December 18, Russian occupiers massively shelled Cherkasy. The attack injured six people and left part of the city without electricity. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy OVA, Ihor Taburets.
“The Russians targeted critical infrastructure – part of the city was without power. Power engineers continue their work,” he noted.
According to the official, residential properties were damaged in several locations due to the drone crashes – at least a dozen and a half private homes.
“There are broken windows and roofs, there were fires. Windows in the sports complex were also broken. There are damaged cars,” Taburets added.

As UNIAN reported, earlier the Russian Federation had massively attacked Odessa , resulting in a large-scale fire that engulfed a boiler warehouse. According to rescuers, repeated air raid sirens made it difficult to eliminate the consequences.
“The rescuers were in shelter. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries,” the Odessa Region State Emergency Service noted.
It was also reported that the Russian Federation struck Zaporizhia with “Shaheds” , as a result of which a nine-story residential building caught fire and people were injured. In addition, apartments on two floors of the residential building burned down due to a drone strike.
