On Tuesday, March 31, it became known that the Russians lost another Su-34 fighter-bomber in the war against Ukraine. One of the crew members died.
This was reported by Ilya Tumanov, the author of the propaganda channel about the Russian fighter aircraft Fighterbomber. “Eternal flight, brother,” he wrote under a black-and-white photo of the aircraft.

It is not yet known exactly where and under what circumstances the Su-34 was destroyed.
What is known about the Su-34
The Su-34 is a Soviet/Russian all-weather, two-seat fighter-bomber developed at the Sukhoi Design Bureau.
It was designed to deliver precision missile and bomb strikes on enemy ground targets at operational and tactical depth , as well as to engage enemy air targets. The aircraft can reach speeds of up to 1,900 km/h at altitudes of up to 14.6 km.
The Su-34 has a virtually unlimited flight range when using mid-air refueling. Without refueling and without the use of additional outboard fuel tanks, it flies over 4,000 km .

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that about a third of Russian enterprises involved in the production cooperation of the Su-34 fighter-bomber are still not under sanctions . Because of this, they can maintain access to foreign components and technologies necessary for the production of military equipment.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on January 28, the aggressor country Russia lost another Su-34 fighter-bomber . The crew was also eliminated along with the aircraft. Later, it became known that the enemy also lost a Su-30.
