Ukrainian Defense Intelligence has reported on the details of the preparation and conduct of the operation, the purpose of which was to disrupt the offensive plans of the Russian army and prevent its advance in the Zaporizhia direction.

For three months, warriors of the Timur Special Unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine implemented a complex defensive operation in the Zaporizhia direction.
The main goal of the Ukrainian intelligence was to disrupt the offensive plans of the russian army as well as to prevent its advance towards the regional center.
During active combat operations, special forces used drones and artillery, delivering precise strikes on enemy positions and logistical routes.
According to Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, during the operation, more than 300 russian soldiers were killed and wounded, as well as another 39 occupiers were captured by Ukrainian warriors.
Precise strikes on the rear supply routes significantly limited the logistical capabilities of the russian troops. Due to the lack of support, the occupiers are increasingly forced to abandon assault operations in this direction.
The operation is being carried out by units that are part of the Timur Special Unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, including Chimera, Russian Volunteer Corps, Bratstvo, Aratta, Siberian Battalion, Stugna, First Line, 1514, Paragon, Belarusian Volunteer Corps, Guardians of Darkness, Raven group, Art Division and the 6th special operations detachment.
According to Ukraine’s Intelligence, the active actions of Ukrainian special forces made it possible to stabilize the defense on the lines favorable to the Defense Forces as well as prevent the advance of russian troops in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
It was previously reported that a significant role in the advancement of Ukrainian troops was played by the restriction of access of russian units to the Starlink network, due to which they lost the opportunity to effectively coordinate their actions.
