On July 8, Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on Kyiv. The children’s hospital “Okhmatdet” came under enemy fire, Suspilne reports .

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported that one of the rooms of a children’s medical facility had been hit.And the head of the Presidential Office, Andrei Yermak, wrote that “the Russians deliberately hit children today.”

“A children’s hospital, a targeted attack by the Russians,” Yermak added.

A little later, the information about the hit to “Okhmatdet” was confirmed by the Kyiv City Military Administration. They also noted that there is damage in several districts of the capital. In Solomensky district, an office building was damaged, in Goloseevsky – debris fell near a residential building, in Dneprovsky, debris is burning in a residential building. Also in Darnitsky district, a private house was damaged, and in Desnyansky – a house is on fire.

“All emergency services are working at the scene of the incidents. As of this minute, 5 people are preliminarily known to have died. The information is being clarified,” the KGVA statement said.
