A series of explosions rocked the Russian city of Michurinsk, Tambov Oblast, on the night of February 12. Previously, good drones hit the aggressor state’s Progress factory, which works for the Russian defense industry.
Meanwhile, enemy air defenses, attempting to shoot down air targets over the settlement, also caused damage to Michurinsk. Local residents posted relevant photos and videos on social media.
Caution, there is foul language!


The characteristic drone hum can be heard in the released videos. There were many explosions – Russian sources report at least 12.


The Exilenova+ Telegram channel recalled that the Progress has been hit for at least the second time. The previous time it was hit was in June 2025.
This factory produces:
- gyroscopic devices for stabilization and control;
- course indicators and autopilots that provide navigation and automatic flight control;
- angular rate sensors and other elements of flight and navigation systems.
The products are used in airplanes, helicopters, and missile systems, performing key control and guidance functions. The plant actively assists the occupiers by introducing advanced technologies into military equipment.
Ukraine imposed sanctions against Progress OJSC in November 2025.


As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of February 11, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories and in Russia . Among the targets hit were an oil refinery in Volgograd, supply depots, and air defense systems.
