Four states want NATO’s defeat – Stoltenberg

He again reminded that supporting Ukraine is not charity.

China , North Korea and Iran support the Russian war against Ukraine, they want the United States of America and NATO to be defeated.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Estonia. “If they succeed in Ukraine, it will make us more vulnerable and the world more dangerous. So our support for Ukraine is not charity. It is in our own security interests,” he said.

Stoltenberg noted that everyone wants an end to the war, but the Russian occupation of Ukraine and capitulation to Putin will not bring security and peace. He also expects European allies and Canada to offer greater financial and military support for Ukraine at the NATO summit.

“And that leaders will agree that NATO will take the lead in coordinating security and training assistance for Ukraine. All of this will reduce the burden on the United States,” the secretary general added.
