In Helsinki they claim that they are committed to supporting Ukraine in this war.
Finland announced another military assistance to Ukraine. This is the country’s 24th defense support package.

As reported on the website of the Finnish Ministry of Defence , this package will cost Helsinki approximately 159 million euros. The decision was made today by the President of the Republic on the proposal of the government. According to the report, this concerns the supply of military equipment.
“For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of assistance, additional information about the specific content, delivery method or schedule of assistance will not be provided,” the country’s defense ministry notes.
It is noted that the assistance took into account both the needs of Ukraine and the resource position of the Defense Forces. “Finland is committed to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s unjustified aggression. This is not only about Ukraine, but also, finally, about the right of all free peoples to exist. We, Finns, have learned from our own history how important this issue is,” – said Defense Minister Antti Gäkkänen.
The report says that the total value of defense equipment supplied by Finland to Ukraine now amounts to 2.2 billion euros. Finland is also participating in a joint initiative with the Czech Republic for the procurement of ammunition. In addition, Finland decided to participate in the armored coalition led by Poland, Germany and Italy and in the information technology coalition led by Estonia and Luxembourg. The goal of international productive coalitions is long-term support for Ukraine.
