We need working sanctions
& real economic pressure.

You cannot pay 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚 millions of euros and expect Ukrainians to be grateful for your help.

In just one month – September 2025 – the five largest 𝐄𝐔 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐔𝐑 𝟗𝟎𝟔 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧, according to the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA):

🇫🇷 France paid to russia EUR 153 million
🇧🇪 Belgium paid to russia EUR 92 million
🇳🇱The Netherlands paid to russia EUR 62 million

From 2022 to June 2025, the four main importers of 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐍𝐆 – 🇫🇷🇪🇸🇧🇪🇳🇱- spent more on 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐍𝐆 than they provided in bilateral aid to Ukraine during the same period:

Today, this money is being used to fuel the 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 on Ukraine, leaving millions without heating and electricity in –20°C (–4°F).

⚡️ A state of emergency has been declared in Ukraine’s energy sector:

→ Forecasted electricity consumption during the severe frost reached 18–19 GW, while the actual available capacity, including imports, was only 12–13 GW.
→ Electricity generation dropped to historic lows because of strikes and destruction.
→ In 2025, the debt of balancing market participants to Ukrenergo increased by 21%, reaching a record 42 billion hryvnias.

Who will pay for this?

⚠️ Today, 𝟐𝟕 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑𝟏 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟕 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 – targeting residential high-rise buildings and thermal power plants (CHPs and TPPs) that were operating solely to heat neighborhoods in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, according to the Minister of Energy.

Ukrainian forces shot down or suppressed 38 missiles and 412 enemy drones.

This was the most powerful strike on Ukraine’s energy sector since the beginning of the year – targeting electricity generation and distribution facilities – while temperatures have dropped to -20°C (-4°F).

It has been reported that Kharkiv’s main thermal power plant can no longer be restored. This will have a lasting impact on Ukraine – on its development, economic recovery, and ability to attract investment.
