Drones hit key oil logistics facility in Russia

Damage to the facility affects the entire petroleum product transportation system in this area.

On the night of March 8, drones struck the Armavir linear production and dispatching station in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia.

According to monitoring channels, the impact caused a fire at the facility. Videos shared by local residents show a column of smoke rising from the burning tanks.

The Ukrainian OSINT project “CyberBoroshno”  reported that the Armavir linear production and dispatching station (LVDS) is a key facility for pipeline logistics of petroleum products.

“The LVDS is one of the links in the energy chain, so its damage affects the entire oil product transportation system in this area,” the OSINT project said in a statement.

The Krasnodar Territory Operations Headquarters reported that 120 rescuers and 38 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, which covered an area of ​​700 sq. m.
