Explosions were heard in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, Russia, on the night of March 27.
Local authorities complained about a UAV attack on the Cherepovets industrial zone and “falling debris.”
The Apatite chemical plant of the PhosAgro group, Europe’s largest producer of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, was attacked, and Severstal may also have been targeted. Details of the attack are reported by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
What is known
At around 3 a.m., Exilenova+, citing reports from Cherepovets residents, reported an attack on Apatit JSC (Cherepovets chemical cluster of PhosAgro group).
“It is the largest producer of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, phosphoric and sulfuric acids in Europe , as well as one of the leaders in Russia in terms of production of NPK fertilizers… Its products are exported to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and are also used to create ammunition, equipment, and much more for the Russian occupation army,”
the channel explained .






Meanwhile, Exilenova+ reported a possible damage to another important enterprise for the Russian economy, the Severstal steel plant : one of the furnaces there is allegedly on fire.
Meanwhile, Russian air defenses , trying to shoot down unknown good drones,
traditionally roamed the city.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk were attacked again this night. Large-scale fires broke out there again.
And the day before, the Kirishsky refinery in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation was under attack. According to the General Staff, primary oil processing facilities and more were affected there.
