Delcy Rodríguez calls on the People to defend the Homeland in the face of a US military attack: We will never be slaves again!

After the military attack of the United States (USA) against Venezuela, this Saturday the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, called on the People to take action in defense of the Homeland.

In telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), she said that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Militia and the fighting forces will take to the streets, as instructed by President Nicolás Maduro. “No one is going to violate the historical legacy of our Liberating Father, the People must take action to defend their natural resources, the right to independence, peace, development, the future; a free Homeland, without any external protection, but we will never be slaves!” , she said.

Rodríguez also demanded respect for international law and recognized the courage of the military personnel who lost their lives defending the Executive.

“The call I make is for a perfect national union, that all living forces are active to defend the integrity of Venezuela, that no external government intends to come to be leaders,” she said.

She reiterated that on instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, the FANB and citizen security agencies are deployed to guarantee peace. “Venezuela is calm, digesting what a military invasion means that has violated peace and that has killed humble inhabitants.”

  1. So much about the US ruling Venezuela now. BTW, as Maduro is still president he still enjoys diplomatic immunity and can’t be put on trial according to international law.

  2. The last election Maduro received 30% of the votes, against 70% for the opposition. I think the slavery is still there.
