At night, the Russians massively attacked Kyiv with drones , causing a lot of destruction and casualties.

Updated 8:40 AM.  The National Police of Ukraine noted that destruction and falling debris were recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kyiv.

“A man died in Solomyansk district. In Darnytskyi district, five people aged 36 to 55 received shrapnel wounds. Among them is a 15-year-old girl. In Shevchenkivskyi district, an elderly woman was hospitalized,” the report says.

The Russian attack damaged residential buildings, a kindergarten, a supermarket, MAFs, garages, vehicles, warehouses, and the ground part of the metro station. In addition, the blast wave damaged a police car, whose crew was rushing to respond to the call.

There is a fire in the Darnytskyi district, Boryspilska Street is partially closed to traffic, there are traffic jams on neighboring streets, and trams are not running.

Updated 6:30. The State Emergency Service showed the consequences of the liquidation of the attack on Kyiv and spoke about the damage.

Shevchenkivskyi district : A balcony on the first floor of a 10-story residential building caught fire after being hit by UAV debris. One person was rescued, another was injured.

Dniprovskyi district : commercial buildings caught fire. The fire was localized to an area of 500 sq.m.

Darnytskyi district : fires broke out on the territory of a garage cooperative and in a preschool educational institution.

Svyatoshynskyi district : garages caught fire due to falling UAV debris.

According to the head of the Kyiv City Administration, Timur Tkachenko, one person has been reported dead in the capital as a result of the shelling. In addition, a man with multiple injuries was hospitalized in the Darnytskyi district.

He also later reported that in the Darnytsia district, as a result of an enemy attack, another non-residential building caught fire.

City Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported a fire in an uninhabited cottage complex in the Obolon district.

A fire broke out on the second and third floors of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, with one victim reported. Social media reports indicate that a multi-story building in the Lvivskyi Kvartal residential complex was damaged.

A fire broke out in the Solomyanskyi district in a warehouse.

Klitschko also reported that the entrance to the Lukyanivska metro station was damaged.

Later, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that traffic on the “red” metro line was temporarily carried out to the “Vokzalna” station.

“For technical reasons, train traffic on the Svyatoshynsko-Brovarskaya metro line has been organized from the Akademmistechko station to the Vokzalna station,” the administration noted.

At the same time, all underground metro stations continue to operate as shelters.

Russian “shaheeds” – news

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense for the first time publicly boasted about the Shahed production plant  in Tatarstan and admitted that they are produced by teenagers.

Meanwhile, German General Christian Freuding, who is responsible for coordinating military aid to Ukraine, warns of the Russians’ intention  to produce 2,000 Shahed missiles per day , which would be a huge problem for Ukraine.
