It is noted that for the first time in the history of trade between Beijing and Moscow, sales of the precious metal have reached such volumes.

In November, the Russian Federation sold gold bars to China for a record amount in the history of trade between the countries: $961 million.

The Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti writes that Moscow supplied Beijing with a slightly smaller amount of gold in October. The total amount was $930 million.

At the same time, the total amount of Russian gold supplies to China amounted to $1.9 billion in 11 months of 2025. Thus, in January-September, the volume of supplies amounted to only $9 million.

It is worth noting that no gold was exported from Russia to China during the period from October to November 2024. The maximum value of supplies that year was only $223 million.
