Chernihiv completely left without electricity due to russian shelling – local authorities

Chernihiv was left completely without electricity due to russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv City Council.

“Chernihiv was completely left without electricity due to strikes by the russian federation on energy infrastructure (facilities in the region). All critical and social infrastructure facilities are switching to alternative power sources,” the city council stated.

Electric transport is practically not operating in the city.

Meanwhile, as reported by Ukrazaliznytsia, a number of trains are delayed in the Chernihiv Region due to the lack of voltage in the contact network.
