We are talking about a Ukrainian system called “Lima”.
Ukraine may have found a way to counter one of Russia’s most advanced and dangerous missiles, the Kinzhal, using electronic jamming and music, according to Interesting Engineering .

It is known that the Kinzhal can be launched from modified MiG-31 interceptors and carry a 450 kg warhead over a distance of more than 480 km.
This missile moves so fast that even American Patriot air defense systems cannot intercept it, which is why Russia often uses this weapon during shelling of Ukrainian power plants and cities.
How music helps Ukraine
At the same time, the Ukrainian military says that its own electronic warfare (EW) system, Lima, successfully interferes with the Kinzhal’s guidance system.
Operators emphasized that the system, operated by the Ukrainian Night Watch unit, has jammed or diverted about a dozen Kinzhal missiles over the past two weeks.
It was noted that the Night Watch fighters replaced the rocket’s satellite navigation signal with the Ukrainian patriotic anthem “Our Father Bandera,” which is dedicated to the nationalist Stepan Bandera.
“Any non-standard information provided to a satellite-guided missile through spoofing could cause navigation errors. This also helps the unit ‘counter Russian propaganda’ by protecting Ukrainian targets,” the report adds.
Compared to traditional electronic warfare systems that broadcast noise to jam signals, Lima uses digital jamming, combining jamming, spoofing, and cyberattacks to confuse the weapon’s navigation receiver. This multi-layered attack is aimed not only at disrupting operations but also at misleading them.
Analysts say Russian glider bombs could be deviated by 50-100 meters under the influence of the Lima.
Even Russian military bloggers admit that bombs “lose the ability to accurately correct their flight” and miss their targets because of this system.
“The reported success of the Lima system highlights how Ukraine is adapting to Russia’s long-range strike campaign through innovation rather than parity in firepower. As warfare increasingly shifts to the realm of electronic and information dominance, systems like the Lima could prove decisive, rendering Russia’s most advanced missiles ineffective and costly,” concluded Interesting Engineering.
Other weapons news
As UNIAN reported earlier, European philanthropists donated a “World War II-style fighter jet” to Ukraine, specifically a Yak-52, which will serve as a fighter jet and combat Russian drones.
It is known that the Yak-52 itself is a Soviet sports training aircraft that first took to the skies in 1974.
At the same time, Defense Express reported that the ERAM missiles developed for Ukraine would form the basis for a new low-cost air defense system. It noted that the US project is being implemented specifically for Ukraine, and that it covers two cruise missiles from Zone 5 Technologies and CoAspire.

“This missile moves so fast that even American Patriot air defense systems cannot intercept it…”
This is simply not true.
“As UNIAN reported earlier, European philanthropists donated a “World War II-style fighter jet” to Ukraine, specifically a Yak-52, which will serve as a fighter jet and combat Russian drones.”
A Yak-52 is a propeller driven airplane, powered by a radial engine. It’s as much a jet as a kite.
