BREAKING NEWS: Russia attacked central Odessa: there are injuries and destruction (photos)

Residential buildings, a hospital, a kindergarten and a school were damaged.

On the night of January 13, the Russian army attacked the center of Odessa , resulting in destruction and six civilians injured.

According to Serhiy Lysak , head of the Odessa Interregional Military District, two waves of enemy attacks in the city center damaged residential buildings and social facilities, including a hospital, a kindergarten, and a school. Emergency response teams have been deployed, and utility services are working on the scene.

According to him, there are wounded, and they are receiving all necessary medical care.

Odesa Regional State Administration Head Oleh Kiper reported that six people were injured. Damage included power facilities, apartment buildings, an amusement park, a lyceum, a fitness center, and other facilities.

“Six people, aged between 35 and 68, were injured. Two were hospitalized with moderate injuries, and four others received medical treatment at the scene. All are under medical supervision,” the official emphasized.

To assist residents of the damaged buildings, emergency response centers and points of invincibility have been established.

According to the press service of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 67-year-old man and two women, aged 46 and 65, were injured.

“A 34-year-old and a 37-year-old man were also injured. Two were hospitalized, and the others received medical treatment at the scene. A case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code—committing war crimes,” the prosecutor’s office told UNIAN.

According to the regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service , Russia attacked Odessa with attack drones overnight. Rescuers say the strikes caused fires in an abandoned new building, a fitness center, a vocational school, and a nearby garage housing a car. Additionally, the facades and glazing of six nearby apartment buildings and a kindergarten, two garages, and nine cars were damaged.

State Emergency Service psychologists provided assistance to 14 people, including a child. Fifteen pieces of equipment and over 60 rescuers were deployed to deal with the aftermath.
