The aggressor’s old Soviet technologies once again failed during another massive attack on Ukraine.

The Russian X-22 missiles, with which the occupiers wanted to attack Ukraine on the night of February 26 , disappeared from the radars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine while still over the territory of the Russian Federation, said the founder of the “Reactive Mail” organization, military expert Pavlo Narozhny. According to him, it is unlikely that Ukraine has anything to do with this event.

“It is very unlikely that we could somehow shoot down these missiles over the Bryansk region. The distance is too great,” Narozhnyi said on Radio NV . The expert also added that the X-22s are anti-ship, old air-launched missiles. Since Soviet times, they could have been either modernized or restored, which may be the problem.

“I am more than sure that the problem is precisely in this recovery, that there were some technical problems with the missiles. And it was because of these technical problems – perhaps with the navigation system, perhaps with the engine – that they fell somewhere in the Bryansk region,” he concluded.
