BREAKING NEWS: Ivano-Frankivsk suffered the largest blow since the beginning of the war, there are wounded

As a result of the massive combined attack by the occupiers on the Ivano-Frankivsk community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, and there were casualties.

This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ruslan Martsinkiv. He noted that the Russians hit the city with various types of missiles and “Shaheds”. “There were a lot of strikes. This is the largest attack since the full-scale invasion,” Martsinkiv said.

According to the mayor, civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of the attack, and there are victims in at least three villages of the Ivano-Frankivsk community.Video of the day

At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detailed that currently there are 4 victims, including a child.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that a fire broke out in an outbuilding in the Horodenkivska territorial community of the Kolomyia district, which was promptly extinguished by rescuers.

A fire in a 2-story private residential building has been extinguished in the Ivano-Frankivsk territorial community. Residential buildings in this community have also been damaged. 

“In the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, rescuers quickly extinguished fires in garages and cars in an open parking lot and in production and warehouse facilities,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. 

Night attack by the invaders

On the night of July 21, the Russian Federation launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in a number of regions. 

At night, the Air Force Command warned that  Tu-95 strategic bombers had taken off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region . 

“Attention! Several Tu-95 aircraft have been recorded taking off from the Olenya airfield (Murmansk region, Russian Federation). Follow our messages! In the event of an air alert, head for shelter!” the Air Force warned.
