All fighters who participated in the operation are nominated for state awards.
During the fall, the Defense Forces liberated 5 villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region from Russian occupiers: Orestopol, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Khoroshe, and Vorone. This was reported by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.
“The operation to liberate settlements lasted for more than 100 days in the fall of 2025 with the support of the fighters of the 20th Army Corps. All this time, the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Battalion of the 225th Special Operations Division were in positions and carried out counterattacks,” the unit said.
They called this operation unique, because “the unit continuously held its positions and advanced forward for more than 100 days.”
The regiment added that all the fighters who participated in the operation were nominated for state awards, and promised to later meet the fighters and hear first-hand stories about the events of those days.
