Ships of the Black Sea Fleet and the Sheskharis oil terminal were hit, and there were dead and wounded Russian servicemen.

Ukrainian troops used strike drones to damage five Russian warships in Novorossiysk on the night of March 1-2, the Spy Dossier Telegram channel reports .

According to sources, one of the ships was significantly damaged – probably the naval minesweeper “Valentyn Pikul”. Small anti-submarine ships of the project 1124M “Eisk” and “Kasimov” of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were also damaged. Three Russian servicemen were killed in the attack, and 16 others were injured.

The strike on Novorossiysk also hit the strategic oil terminal “Sheskharis”, where a fire broke out. Damage to oil tankers and the radar station of the S-400 air defense system was confirmed. Analysts also recorded a dark spot on the pier in the area where small anti-submarine ships of Project 1124 “Albatross” are moored.

Novorossiysk is the base for most Russian warships in the Black Sea and a key hub for the region’s export infrastructure.
