As a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv , residential buildings, a business center, a school, a metro station, and other facilities have been damaged in various areas. It is currently known that there are fatalities, and the number of injured has increased sharply.

“We already know about 6 deaths in the Shevchenko district. The search and rescue operation is ongoing,” said the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko.

As the National Police clarified , rescuers pulled the bodies of a husband and wife from under the rubble of the destroyed entrance.
Earlier, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that the number of deaths had increased.
“The most serious consequences are in Shevchenkivske. An entire entrance to a residential high-rise building was destroyed… State Emergency Service workers rescued 10 injured people. Everyone is receiving medical and psychological assistance. The clearing of the rubble is ongoing. According to our data, there are still people under the ruins,” he detailed.

Earlier, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMMA), Timur Tkachenko, reported on the scale of the destruction in the city. For example, according to him, the roof of a non-residential building in the Solomiansky district caught fire as a result of being hit by debris from an enemy drone. In total, the Kyiv City State Administration reported damage in 5 places in the Solomiansky district.
According to Tkachenko, in the Svyatoshynskyi district, debris fell on the stadium, a fire near a residential building, and damage to a non-residential building was recorded.
“During the attack, one of the exits of the Svyatoshyn metro station and the adjacent area – the stop – were damaged. Two people were injured here. They were provided with assistance on the spot, without hospitalization,” Tkachenko noted.
The KMVA reported that exit No. 8 is currently temporarily closed – to Chornobayivska Square (Heroes of Brest) towards the bridge. The remaining entrances/exits are operating normally. The station’s operating schedule has not been changed – the metro is operating without interruptions.
A two-story residential building was damaged in the Darnytskyi district. There were no injuries and no fire.
It later became known that in the Holosiivskyi district, 2 cars and a business center were damaged as a result of the attack. In the Desnyanskyi district, a crater appeared in the yard of a residential building.
In addition, the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported new fires in 2 places in the Shevchenkivskyi district and a fire in a non-residential building in the Podilskyi district.
