Explosions were heard in Russia on the night of January 9, particularly in Belgorod and Oryol. After that, there were problems with the power supply.
Attacks on Belgorod
Russian Telegram channels complained that the city was “in a complete blackout.” One propaganda resource wrote that a transformer had been damaged and five power lines had been cut in Belgorod. The targets may have been the Storozhova substation and the Luch CHP.
After the explosions, residents reported power outages, water supply disruptions, and heating. In some areas of the Belgorod region, the power went out completely.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed serious damage to infrastructure and even forgot to mention “UAV debris.” He also stated that emergency services were working on the scene.

Strikes on the Eagle
Local publications wrote about the drone attack on the thermal power plant, after which residents also had problems with electricity, heat, and water supply.
“Orla has problems with electricity and water, the local CHP is under attack,” one of the Russian Telegram channels reported.

Russians received the following messages from emergency responders: “Due to damage to a municipal infrastructure facility in the city of Orel, thermal performance has been partially reduced. The Ministry of Emergencies recommends adhering to measures to conserve heat and electricity.”

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, on the evening of January 8, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian army logistics facilities in the temporarily occupied territories – in Crimea and in the Donetsk region . The strikes were aimed at disrupting the supply of fuel and lubricants and reducing the enemy’s combat capabilities.

Very good. But I wish Ukraine would attack the shithole capital more often.
