“Atesh” agents carried out a series of sabotage operations on the railway in Luhansk: schedules for supplying weapons to the occupiers were disrupted

Ukrainian partisans continue to attack railway infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories. Recently, a series of sabotage attacks were carried out on the railway in Luhansk.

This operation was a blow to the supply of the Russian troops in the Pokrovsky direction. The military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars “Atesh” reported this on Telegram.

Details of the sabotage

Traffic agents carried out a series of sabotage operations on the railway infrastructure in Luhansk. As a result, two relay cabinets in different parts of the city were put out of action. The damage to the infrastructure caused a systemic failure in train traffic management.

The partisans also emphasized that the attack was on the main supply artery of the occupiers. This branch connects Russia with occupied Luhansk, passes through Debaltseve and Popasna and goes to the Pokrovsky direction. In fact, this is the only stable route for delivering troops, ammunition, fuel and equipment from the Russian Federation to the front line.

According to the partisans, after the sabotage, traffic on the sections stopped, trains got stuck, schedules were disrupted. The occupiers are forced to control the trains manually, which significantly reduces the throughput. Military trains are piling up at the entrances to the city and cannot move further.

As a result of the sabotage, fuel and ammunition supplies to the Pokrovsky direction are disrupted, alternative routes are overloaded and cannot cope with the volumes.

As a reminder, the partisan movement “Atesh” carried out another sabotage in the territory of occupied Crimea. Agents disabled electronic warfare antennas on a tower near the village of Goncharne near Sevastopol.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Atesh agents reconnoitered the occupiers’ re-base near Dzhankoy in temporarily occupied Crimea. There, they noted enemy activity: several hundred pieces of equipment had been accumulated at the base, and additional air defense and electronic warfare equipment had been deployed to it.
