Agents of the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars “Atesh” have carried out another successful sabotage operation in Russia. They burned down a communications tower in one of the military units in the Moscow region.
The sabotage affected the operation of the air defense system of the Russian 5th Air Defense Division. Details were revealed in the movement’s Telegram channel.

Atesh announced the destruction of the communications tower of one of the Russian air defense units in the Moscow region by the movement’s agents.
“Our agents carried out a successful sabotage in the Moscow Region, striking an element of the air defense system of the 5th Air Defense Division of the Russian Aerospace Forces’ anti-aircraft missile forces. We destroyed the military unit’s communications tower,” the message states.
Atesh added that the destroyed tower was a communication and control point for a unit of the Russian Armed Forces.
“It provided secure radio relay communication for the operational exchange of information and orders between the command and subordinate air defense units. The tower also served to house electronic reconnaissance equipment and intercept signals, which is critically important for obtaining information and general control of the situation in the region,” the movement said.
Atesh also noted that the destruction of this communications hub “weakens the air defense potential in the central region of Russia.”
“Broken coordination, management, and loss of intelligence make the entire system less effective and vulnerable,” the movement summarized.
OBOZ.UA previously reported that an “Atesh” agent destroyed a communications tower in Kursk. The sabotage succeeded in creating communication difficulties for the Russian troops.
It was also reported that the movement’s agents burned a communications tower near the Tolmachevo air base in Novosibirsk.
