The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to strike targets in Russia and the occupied territories. On the night of January 10, the target of the attack was the Zhutovsk oil depot in the Volgograd region.

Other enemy targets were also attacked , the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Details of the operation

The strikes on enemy targets were carried out as part of measures to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor. According to the General Staff, an oil depot in the Volgograd region was hit, but the extent of the damage is being clarified.

In addition, a UAV depot belonging to a unit from the invaders’ 19th motorized rifle division was hit in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region. An enemy UAV control point was also hit in the Pokrovsk area of ​​Donetsk region.

In addition, a number of enemy targets were hit in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, in particular: a concentration of personnel of the 76th Airborne Assault Division near Kurakhivka, a command and control point of a unit from the tank battalion of the same division near the settlement of Hirnyk. In all cases, strike UAVs hit the targets. Enemy losses are being specified.

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue systematic actions to reduce the offensive and military-economic potential of the Russian occupation forces and force Russia to cease armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff said.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that only 8 HIMARS missiles caused a blackout in Belgorod. The successful launches, which left about half a million Russians without electricity and heating, took place on the night of January 9. Another 200,000 residents of the region faced water supply problems.
