A US F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet crashed in Kuwait on Monday morning. The incident came amid ongoing US military operations against Iran , writes sundayguardianlive.com . The fighter jet is part of the US air presence in the Middle East.

Initial reports and widely shared videos showed the fighter jet descending uncontrollably before hitting the ground.

Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media show one of the crew members ejecting from the plane and parachuting down. Initial sources say the pilot ejected safely and left the crash site without serious injuries.

Locals in Kuwait posted photos of the rescue operation in the area, and the pilot was reportedly seen on the ground after using the ejection seat. There has been no official confirmation from the US Air Force on the cause of the crash or the condition of the other crew members.

The F-15E Strike Eagle is a high-performance dual-role fighter designed for both air-to-air combat and precision deep strike missions.
