The Zaporizhzhia occupation court found Tokmak resident Svitlana Loi guilty of “high treason” for transfers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman, who received a Russian passport, transferred 63,420 rubles from her Ukrainian pension.

Svetlana Loy, born in 1956, lives in Tokmok, which is temporarily occupied by Russia. In December 2023, she received a Russian passport, but did not renounce her Ukrainian citizenship.

During January–November 2024, Loy systematically transferred funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through a mobile application of one of the Ukrainian banks. In total, she made 24 transfers for the amount of 63,420 rubles, using hryvnia from her Ukrainian pension.

Svetlana Loy was charged with high treason under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – allegedly for “financial assistance to a foreign country and activities against the security of the Russian Federation.”

The Zaporizhia Regional Court found her guilty and sentenced her to 15 years in prison in a general regime colony, suspended for one year. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/v3600377
