Massive attack on Odessa: one person killed, six others injured

One person was killed and six others were injured as a result of a massive attack on Odessa.

The deceased man was 20 years old, the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office reported.

The victims were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity, three of whom are in serious condition, the Regional State Administration noted.

The enemy targeted port infrastructure, residential buildings, industry, and energy facilities. Fertilizer warehouses, freight cars, and vehicles were damaged at the port.

Two “shahid” shells hit apartments without causing fire. Shells were also recorded landing on a car dealership and a sanatorium.

The impacts caused several fires to break out simultaneously across the city. More than 90 rescuers were called in to deal with the aftermath, according to the State Emergency Service.
