Text of the telegram
We have effectively coordinated our efforts in the international arena, in the military and security spheres, and successfully implemented programmes aimed at strengthening financial, economic and nanotechnological sovereignty despite the unprecedented pressure of sanctions from the outside.
I am convinced that further building up the whole range of allied ties is in the best interests of our brotherly peoples.
I sincerely wish you strong health and success. I wish happiness and prosperity to all the Belarusian citizens.
Regards,
Vladimir Putin
For reference: Belarus is playing an active role in the war against Ukraine.
Missiles and drones are being launched from its territory; Russian forces used Belarusian territory as a springboard at the beginning of the war, and the occupiers are still training and being treated there.
“I sincerely wish you strong health and success. I wish happiness and prosperity to all the Belarusian citizens.”
Of course you do Vlad. maybe they will, once you two shitheads are swinging.
One dictator wishing another dictator well is nothing new. So it happened between Hitler and Stalin and Mussolini.
There’s more important news: Inflation in Congo decreased by 0.2%. 😂
I’m very serious about getting the unvarying, objective truth from honest reporting. That said, there’s some things that any good person (journalist or reader alike) can have fun with about satirical commentary.
So, the implication I’d like to suggest here, is that lukashenko has busied himself with sending “special” love letters to putin, the chicken farmer describing his undying passion for the former KGB spy, and presumably the time they can spend together for “picnics at the Volga” when the temperature is more comfortable. Like a violently abused housewife who sides with her husband, lukashenko doesn’t want putin to beat or kill him, and lies to himself about the “relationship” so much that he believes putin really does love him. Like a classic TV soap opera, despite the dramatic “affections” he feels in his heart, lukashenko continues to be mistreated by his mostly uncaring “lover,” and despite the weakness of their “marriage,” he clings to the dying influence of putin. Perhaps he hopes putin thinks of him in the inheritance, and so lukashenko is also trying a bit of “gold-digging.” So sad. So desperate.
So laughable. 😂🤣😂🤣
I think Orban is using the same approach
