The issue was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs for further discussion.

The Bundestag did not support the Conservatives’ proposal to vote for the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. The German deputies considered this question on January 19.
The website of the Bundestag reports that the issue of supplying Leopard 1 or Leopard 2 to Ukraine was considered at the initiative of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group. Its representatives called for an immediate vote, but did not receive support from the coalition factions, the AfD and the Left Party.
Transfer of Leopard to Ukraine
As UNIAN previously reported, Germany refuses to transfer tanks and does not give a “green light” for other countries to supply their equipment to other states.
Recently , German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that his country would agree to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, but only if the US starts deliveries of its Abrams tanks.
In Poland, which promised to transfer a company of tanks to Ukraine, they said that they could transfer the Leopard without waiting for Germany’s consent.

As high as my admiration is for Poland, as low it is for germanystan.
Ukraine should sue them for the damage caused during WWII to remind people of what happened like Poland did. I bet they’d open the warehouses then…
Might not be a bad idea.
The fuckin kraits will get theirs. Karma is a bitch !!!!
Poland should go ahead and make the transfer and tell Scholtz to pound sand if he complains.
Germany has changed enormously since I left in October 1969.
