Nine people were killed and another 64 were injured when an enemy rocket hit a 9-story residential building in Dnipro.
According to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Valentin Reznichenko, a 15-year-old girl was among the dead.
Of the 64 wounded, 59 people were taken to hospitals, the rest are being treated at home. There are 14 children among the wounded. 37 people have already been rescued from the rubble.
As Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said earlier, 72 apartments were destroyed as a result of the strike, according to preliminary data, up to 200 people could live there, including about 50 children.
He added that now the whole building is without electricity, without gas and without windows. In fact, more than a thousand people need to be provided with housing.
“All city, regional services are working and will definitely work all night. Our people demonstrate incredible mutual assistance! They offer temporary housing, help clear the rubble,” Tymoshenko added.
