In the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region, the renovation of another house, which was almost completely destroyed in the spring due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, has been completed. With the support of the “Media Defense” volunteer organization, developer Volodymyr Khomenko and People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, the roof was completely restored, windows and doors were installed in the building in just six days.

In the spring, this house became a road to hell for two dozen Russian invaders. At that time, the house was occupied by “conscripts”, because before the start of the war, the owner of the house, Volodymyr Tereshchuk, went to Kyiv for a two-week watch. And then instead of two weeks, he lived in a bomb shelter at work for three months.

Meanwhile, about twenty soldiers settled in his native house. “They took this house, lived here, drank here, warmed up here. They robbed a nearby store. They slept on the bed, on the floor, even in the cellar. I had a lot of firewood, they chopped it and threw it into the stove through a small door,” – said the owner of the house, Volodymyr.

One evening, the Russians once again violated the rules of fire safety, as a result of which they burned alive.

“Perhaps, some kind of grill fell. Somehow they didn’t manage that stove – and it burned down. The house is with them. People talked, it burned for two days, until sparks went through the chimney. At least I have walls left. The people have nothing at all,” he says. host.

According to an expert assessment organized by volunteers, the building was 95% destroyed. In the summer, Volodymyr was able to rebuild the walls on his own, but for the winter, such repairs were not enough. Therefore, with the support of volunteers, People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky and developer Volodymyr Khomenko, a new roof was made in this building, as well as windows and doors were installed.

  1. An acquaintance had his house occupied too by orcs. They stole lots of things … things a common thief wouldn’t look at twice, he said. They also trashed the house and shit on the kitchen floor. That’s bad enough, but to get it burned down is worse. The dead orcs make the loss more bearable, I guess.

What is your opinion?
