Against the backdrop of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Russian space industry is falling behind and lagging behind world leaders.

According to the head of Roskosmos of the aggressor country, Yuri Borisov, by the end of 2022, losses will exceed 50 billion rubles. and will be 60% more than last year (31 billion rubles), Russian Vedomosti reports .

“Taking into account the situation that developed after February 24 – the rejection of a number of international contracts, including the supply of engines, launch services – everything got worse,” Borisov said.

As stated in the material, the main losses are associated with the improper organization of the work of enterprises, including poor organization of labor and lame discipline.

With the current production model, Russia produces only 15 satellites per year, while China is already capable of producing over 500 satellites per year.
