The investigator forbade the arrested oppositionist Vladimir Kara-Murza , who is in the pre-trial detention center, to speak on the phone with his children. This was reported on the politician’s twitter.
As stated in the document, my telephone conversations with children “in the opinion of the investigator may create a real threat to the proper conduct of criminal proceedings, as well as otherwise interfere with the proceedings.”
The English-language message on behalf of the politician emphasizes that he has not heard the voices of his children since his arrest in April.

Vladimir Kara-Murza was arrested in April in the case of “fakes” about the Russian army. In July , it became known that a case had been opened against him under the article on the activities of an “undesirable” organization. In October , information appeared about a third criminal case – treason. According to the lawyer, he was aroused because of public speeches criticizing the Russian authorities. The politician faces up to 20 years in prison.
