British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak posted a cute Christmas video in support of Ukraine.

In the video, a girl from Britain sends a Christmas present to her peer in Ukraine, which she unwraps in the dark under an air raid signal.

This gift brought a bit of Christmas magic to the apartment of a little Ukrainian woman and lifted her spirits.

“This Christmas we are with you, Ukraine,” the head of the British government signed the video.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not ignore the published video. He thanked Sunak and all the people of Britain for their support.

“I am grateful to Rishi Sunak and all the British people! We feel your support. We feel the light and warmth of your hearts. Light always prevails over darkness. This is how together we will survive evil and restore peace in Ukraine, Europe and the world. Merry Christmas, friends !, Zelensky wrote.

Christmas in Ukraine

As UNIAN reported earlier, President of Ukraine  Volodymyr Zelensky, in his Christmas greetings , noted that no enemy kamikaze drones are capable of extinguishing the Christmas dawn. He noted that Ukrainians meet today and all the upcoming winter holidays in difficult circumstances.

Wherever Ukrainians are, they will be together today, Zelensky said and stressed that Ukrainians will celebrate their holidays, smile and rejoice as always. “There is only one difference: we will not wait for a miracle, because we create it ourselves,” the head of state said.

Recall that the Orthodox Church of Ukraine allowed parishes  to choose when to celebrate Christmas . OCU priest Georgy Kovalenko explained that the Ukrainian church still lives according to the Julian calendar and also celebrates on December 25, but this is according to the old style, and according to the new style it is January 7.

  1. Nice one Rishi!
Now send Storm Shadow: shitloads of them.
    And Tornadoes to deliver them.
From wiki: “Intended targets are command, control and communications; airfields; ports and power stations; AMS/ammunition storage; surface ships and submarines in port; bridges and other high value strategic targets.”
    That sounds just the job.

  2. The children in Ukraine do not want toys this Christmas. They don’t want candy or cake. They want their Daddys to come home and they want to see Christmas lights. For decades they will remember the son of a bitch that stole their Christmas from them.

  3. Merry Christmas everyone. I pray next year’s be more joyous. God be with Ukraine and all whom fight for her and love her.

    • Well said Pastor Bill. Putin has stolen many things from Ukraine over the years but Ukraine is now going through their Revolutionary War and our fighters do not know defeat. The invaders will pay the price and it will be long lasting. May God protect our troops, their families, the Volunteers, the diaspora, the supporters of freedom all over the world and may God keep and protect the children from harm for they are the future.
