More than 20 mobilised convicts, who formerly served their sentences in prison, have escaped from the Russian occupying army while carrying weapons. They were killed by their own military.

Quote: “A case of desertion of the Russian soldiers from their positions while carrying weapons was discovered on 30 November in the area of Verkhnotoretske, Donetsk Oblast.
Among them 13 out of 21 were mobilised convicts. The Russian Army Command has ordered their arrest and elimination.”
Details: The General Staff has emphasised that as of 5 December, all the deserters have been killed.
On 4 December, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 30 pieces of military equipment of the Russian army, and some 70 militants were wounded.
Background: On 6 December, there was a search in the city of Novoshakhtinsk of Rostov Oblast; they searched for a soldier with a light machine gun, who had wounded a policeman.
As I recall, this isn’t the first time there was a case of convicts escaping the front lines with weapons. I am pleased by such news. Too bad the desertions aren’t in the thousands.
