The very famous Anne Frank diary documents her hiding with her family, but a movie was made of partially what happened to her after they were compromised. She spent time in the brutal Auschwitz camp. later Anne and her sister, Margot, were transferred from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where they died (probably of typhus) a few months later. Though fiction a chilling rendering of how things were back then is portrayed in the movie “The boy in the stripped pajamas”.
