Day 284: (12/4/22) Kyiv still stands and Russia is still a terrorist state.

91,690 enemy soldiers have been neutralized.

The enemy launched 70 missiles at various targets throughout Ukraine. Thankfully, over 60 of them were intercepted by Ukraine's Air Defense Systems; an 86% interception rate up from 80% for the last "mass shelling." Unfortunately, 4 people were killed. 😢

In his nightly address, President Zelensky said that after the missile attacks, "energy workers immediately started restoration. Maximum efforts are in the central regions of Ukraine, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions. In many regions we had to switch to emergency shutdowns to stabilize the system. From Zakarpattia to Kyiv region, from Kirovohrad region to Sumy and Kharkiv regions. As of this evening, the biggest number of shutdowns is in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions. But we will do everything to restore stability."

He added that "Russian terror again affects neighboring states. There are interruptions with electricity supply in Moldova again. And this once again proves that Russia's ability to carry out such massive terrorist attacks is a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to our entire region."

Ukrainian MP Ihor Kopytin reported that Ukraine conducted a special operation to extract two Marines from Russian Occupied territory. The successful mission was carried out by a unit dubbed "Angels" for their skill in conducting such missions. One of the Marines was injured but they are now safe. More details will be made known at a later date. 👏👏👏

The Daily Kos reported that: Russian Telegram milblogger Rybar announced today that the "AFU continue to suffer heavy losses in the battle of Bakhmut" which is a dark comedy. The battle for Bakhmut began on Aug. 1 and Russian, Wagner Mercenaries and local Donbas militias have banged their heads against Ukrainian Defenses ever since for over four months now. If Ukraine is suffering heavy losses in Bakhmut, then what is happening to Russia?"

Well, Russia is losing hundreds of men daily attempting unsuccessfully to storm the city. The city's defenders are some of Ukraine's biggest heroes. Having been constantly undermanned, under-equipped, and under-supported, while HIMARS worked in other parts of the country and the best-equipped Ukraine forces liberated large areas of Kharkiv and Kherson Oblasts. Thousands of Ukrainians hunkered down in the trenches in easter Donbas mowing down wave after wave of orcs while outgunned 5 - 1 or even 10- 1 in artillery. The article went on to point out that now that Kherson City has been liberated Bakhmut is finally "getting some love" Ukrainian artillery and troops are flooding into the area including longer-range self-propelled guns. Meanwhile, Russian efforts against Ukrainian defensive positions have been "whittled down to squad-level advances." Nothing but respect for these defenders. 💪

Explosions at two Russian air bases Monday have focused attention on Ukraine's efforts to develop longer-range combat drones. The Russian Defense Ministry says the attacks were carried out by Ukrainian drones, which it claims were brought down by Russian air defenses. Satellite and photographic images showed that some damage was done to Russian Military planes at one base in the Ryazan region. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has offered no official comment on the explosions, and the Ukrainian government has not acknowledged adding long-range attack drones to its arsenal.

Unfortunately, another two Polish volunteer soldiers fighting for Ukraine were killed in battle yesterday. One of the soldiers killed was Janusz "Kozak" Szeremeta, whose videos from the frontlines have previously gone viral. Rest in peace heroes.

An article published by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty stated the following: The Ukrainian Navy has accused the orcs of using a banned chemical weapon against Ukrainian troops in eastern Ukraine. The orcs allegedly dropped chloropicrin grenades from drones. This chemical was developed as a poison gas during WWI and is banned. The reports could not be verified and there has been no comment from the Kremlin.

History Lesson: 28 years ago today, the Budapest Memorandum was signed. Ukraine gave up its nukes; Russia, Great Britain, and the US guaranteed Ukraine's security and territorial integrity. What's wrong with this picture? To those urging that Ukraine negotiate with Russia, not a chance in hell.

They have really out done themselves with a new level of outlandish stupidity.
