President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that the aggressor state Russia is looking to use the winter against Ukrainians, making the cold winter and hardship part of its terror. However, the Ukrainian people must do everything to survive.
The head of state stressed: to survive this winter is to defend everything. He said this in an address at the end of Sunday, December 4 – the 284th day of the war with Russia. The politician noted that this winter should not be perceived as a test, but as a time that brings us closer to victory – each of these 90 winter days.
“Russia still has missiles and an advantage in artillery. But we have something that the occupiers do not and will not have. We are defending our home, and this gives us the strongest motivation possible. We are fighting for freedom, and this always multiplies any force. We defend the truth, and this unites the world around Ukraine,” he said.
Zelensky called on Ukrainians to help each other and their state – all of Ukraine should become a big point of invincibility and work 24 hours a day.
“In order to get through the winter, we must be even more resilient and even more united than ever. No internal conflicts and strife can be allowed that can weaken us, even if someone out there thinks that this will somehow strengthen him personally. We need even more interaction than ever. All of Ukraine should become one big Point of Invincibility and work every day, work every night. The state, business, people – all of us, Ukrainians, all together,” he said.
The politician noted that Ukrainians in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia are waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and believe that Ukraine will return.
“We see happy people when they meet the Ukrainian flag in the liberated cities – everywhere where Ukraine returns. And this means that they are waiting for us everywhere where there is still occupation. They are waiting and believing that Ukraine will return. They are waiting and know very well: if Russia broke in, so it’s not forever,” the head of state added.
He stressed that the desire of the Ukrainians to restore everything in our common home has always been greater than the terror of the Russian invaders. This should continue, Zelensky believes.
The President said that heavy battles with the aggressor continue in the Bakhmut region – our defense forces are firmly holding positions. He noted that the Ukrainian military in the Donbass are real heroes.
“And this is precisely our key task – both for the state and the people – to do everything to support our defense forces, to strengthen our defense forces, to find everything in the world for our defense forces. I know how difficult it is in Bakhmut, in the Donbass. Guys “Hold on! I’m with you. The people are with you. In order to carry out this task – in order to carry it out successfully – it is precisely for this that we must always support each other. And I thank everyone who helps to strengthen Ukraine and who, after this winter, will definitely be able to say that the approach of our victory is also his personal result, personal achievement,” Zelensky summed up.

Everyone I know in Ukraine is in agreement; living in the cold and dark is better than living with orcs. The coldness and darkness of winter will be gone one day soon and power eventually restored. But, the terror of mafia land would be present for a much longer time and cause much more misery than cold and darkness ever could.

It is scandalous that Zel is forced to make that admission after 9 months of genocide.
Ukraine’s friends must urgently work to ensure that Ukraine has an enormous stock of long range ballistic missiles, much more artillery and more HIMARS; with ATACM’s.
It is essential that the enemy has no advantages at all. Once the foul scum realise that they have absolutely no pathway to victory, they will leave.
The allies must step up their game; by a factor of 400%.
It’s downright horrifying, having to realize that even after 9 months of war and many victories, our inglorious leaders are still up to their ears in fear and that this fear is the cause of daily death and destruction in Ukraine. It creates an indescribable feeling of frustration and revulsion.
