The situation in Zaporizhzhia

The Russian invaders control more than half of the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, in particular, Energodar, where the ZAEP , the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, is located.

On November 27, the president of “Energoatom” Petro Kotin stated that the invading forces  may be preparing to withdraw  from the territory of the ZNPP. The Office of the President of Ukraine is convinced that Russian troops will not be able to hold the  Zaporizhia nuclear power plant .

Russian invaders regularly attack the territory of the region, which they could not capture.

Although the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting a counteroffensive in the south, the conditions for a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Zaporizhia region have not yet been formed, explained military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko.
