Another War Crime!

Robin Horsfall. Dec 2, 2022

I had the privilege of sharing some time with a Ukrainian farmer last Friday. His farm is in the occupied area in Kherson Oblast. He told me that the Russians had spread large numbers of unmapped anti personal and anti-tank mines across his fields. This prevented him from harvesting the wheat, so the crop was left to rot. These mines will remain in place until cleared and will pose a risk for the long-term future, My friend hoped that drones with LIDAR might help to locate the mines when the war ends. He is working on the technology,

Mines are a standard military weapon, but planting mines without mapping them is another Russian war crime.

The western powers cannot afford to allow Russia to take anything positive from this war. To search for a cessation of violence while Russian occupy one metre of Ukraine would be a dreadful mistake that will cost more lives in the future.

Slava Ukraini!

Who Dares Shares,
